| Mr Tissa Ekanayake is an Attorney-at- Law & NP by profession and prior to joining the Company was engaged in private practice. He joined the Company as a Legal officer of the Kandy Branch in 1988. He held positions of Senior Legal Officer and Assistant General Manager-Legal and overlooked the legal functions of the Branches coming under his purview. Subsequently he held the st position of General Manager -Legal and was appointed to the Board on 21 June 2008. He was appointed as Key Executive Director by the Central Bank during the financial crisis and contributed immensely to the revival of the Company. He has extensive knowledge and experience in legal and also in recoveries field and exemplary negotiating skills. He accounts for over 24 years experience in the Company.
