Mr. Sheffield, a distinguished graduate of The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer since August 1997. He was President of Pioneer from August 1997 to November 2004, and assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in August 1999. Mr. Nesbitt currently serves as President and CEO of PRG Parking Management (known as The Parking Spot), a Chicago-based owner and operator of off-airport parking facilities which he conceived and co-founded in August 2004. Prior to launching The Parking Spot, he was an officer of the Pritzker Realty Group, L.P., the real estate group for Pritzker family interests. Before that, Mr. Nesbitt was a Vice President and Investment Manager at LaSalle Partners, one of the predecessor corporations to Jones Lang LaSalle. Mr. Nesbitt is a Trustee of Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art and a member of The University of Chicago Laboratory School Board. He is also the Treasurer for Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, a project of the Democratic National Committee. Mr. Nesbitt is the former Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Housing Authority and a former member of Chicago 2016, the board that led Chicago's pursuit of the 2016 Olympics. Mr David Harrison Mr David Harrison is a member of our Board, Chairman of our Remuneration Committee and a member of our Audit Committee. Mr. Harrison was appointed as an independent non-executive director of JHI SE effective May 19, 2008 and re-elected at our Annual General Meeting in August 2008. Mr. Harrison is an experienced company director and has a distinguished finance background, having served with special expertise in corporate finance roles, international operations and information technology during his 22 years with Borg-Warner General Electric Co. Mr Ted Collins Mr Ted Collins, Jr. has served as Director since February 2011 and serves on Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee at Oasis Petroleum Inc. Mr Collins currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot Resources Partners, LLC and serves as a director on the Boards of CLL Global Research Foundation and Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. Mr Collins began his career in 1960 as a Petroleum Engineer with Pan American Petroleum Corporation. He left in 1963 to become an independent oil operator. He then joined American Quasar Petroleum Company as Executive Vice President in 1969 until 1982 at which time he became President of Enron Oil & Gas Company, whose predecessor companies were HNG Oil Co. and HNG/InterNorth Exploration. He left Enron Oil & Gas Company in 1988 and became President of Collins & Ware, Inc., an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, which sold the majority of its assets to Apache Corp. in 2000. From 2000 to 2006, he served as President of Collins & Ware Investments Co. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr Viet Dinh Viet Dinh has been a Director of the Company since 2004 and serves as Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee. He also oversees and reports to the Board on the work of the Management and Standards Committee (“the MSC”) that was created by the Company to have oversight of, and take responsibility for, all matters related to The News of the World phone hacking case. Mr. Dinh has been a Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center since 1996. Mr. Dinh is a Member of Bancroft PLLC, a law firm he founded in 2003. He also has been the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Strayer Education, Inc. since 2010. He served as an Assistant Attorney General for Legal Policy in the U.S. Department of Justice from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Dinh has served as a Director of Revlon, Inc. since June 2012. He served as a Director of M&F Worldwide Corp., which ceased to be a public reporting company in 2011, from 2007 to 2011, and as a Director of The Orchard Enterprises, Inc., which ceased to be a public reporting company in 2010, from 2007 to 2010.
