Mr David Drummond
| David C. Drummond has served as our Senior Vice President, Corporate Development since January 2006, as Chief Legal Officer since December 2006, and as Secretary since 2002. Previously, he served as our Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel since February 2002. Prior to joining us, from July 1999 to February 2002, David served as Chief Financial Officer of SmartForce, an educational software applications company. Prior to that, David was a partner at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Santa Clara University. |
Mr Hakan S. Edstrom
| Mr Hakan S. Edstrom has been President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2001 and has served as a director at MannKind Corp since December 2001. Mr Edstrom was with Bausch & Lomb, Inc., a health care product company, from January 1998 to April 2001, advancing to the position of Senior Corporate Vice President and President of Bausch & Lomb, Inc. Americas Region. From 1981 to 1997, Mr Edstrom was with Pharmacia Corporation, where he held various executive positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Pharmacia Ophthalmics Inc. Mr Alfred E. Mann
| Alfred E. Mann has been one of our directors since April 1999, our Chairman of the Board since December 2001 and our Chief Executive Officer since October 2003. He founded and formerly served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MiniMed, Inc., a publicly traded company focused on diabetes therapy and microinfusion drug delivery that was acquired by Medtronic, Inc. in August 2001. Mr. Mann also founded and, from 1972 through 1992, served as Chief Executive Officer of Pacesetter Systems, Inc. and its successor, Siemens Pacesetter, Inc., a manufacturer of cardiac pacemakers, now the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division of St. Jude Medical Corporation. Mr. Mann founded and since 1993, has served as Chairman and until January 2008, as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Bionics Corporation, a medical device manufacturer focused on neurostimulation to restore hearing to the deaf and to treat chronic pain and other neural deficits, that was acquired by Boston Scientific Corporation in June 2004. In January 2008, the former stockholders of Advanced Bionics Corporation repurchased certain segments from Boston Scientific Corporation and formed Advanced Bionics LLC for cochlear implants and Infusion Systems LLC for infusion pumps. Mr. Mann was non-executive Chairman of both entities. Advanced Bionics LLC was acquired by Sonova Holdings on December 30, 2009. Infusion Systems LLC was acquired by the Alfred E. Mann Foundation in February 2010. Mr. Mann has also founded and is non-executive Chairman of Second Sight Medical Products, Inc., which is developing a visual prosthesis for the blind; Bioness Inc., which is developing rehabilitation neurostimulation systems; Quallion LLC, which produces batteries for medical products and for the military and aerospace industries; and Stellar Microelectronics Inc., a supplier of electronic assemblies to the medical, military and aerospace industries. Mr. Mann also founded and is the managing member of PerQFlo, LLC, which is developing drug delivery systems. Mr. Mann is the managing member of the Alfred E. Mann Foundation and is also non-executive Chairman of Alfred Mann Institutes at the University of Southern California, AMI Purdue and AMI Technion, and the Alfred Mann Foundation for Biomedical Engineering, which is establishing additional institutes at other research universities. Mr. Mann holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physics from the University of California at Los Angeles, honorary doctorates from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Southern California, Western University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering. |

| Mr David H. MacCallum is a member of board of directors at MannKind Corp since June 2004. Mr Mark Vadon
| Mark Vadon, age 42, founded Blue Nile and has served as our chairman of the board of directors since its inception in March 1999. He served as our executive chairman from February 2008 to August 2011 and served as our chief executive officer from March 1999 to February 2008. From March 1999 to February 2007, Mr. Vadon was also our president. From December 1992 to March 1999, Mr. Vadon was a consultant for Bain & Company, a management consulting firm. In 2009, Mr. Vadon founded zulily, Inc., an internet retailer of daily deals for moms and children, and serves as its chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Vadon holds a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Mr. Vadon founded Blue Nile over twelve years ago and brings to the board of directors a deep understanding of the business and the strategic vision for the business. He is an Independent Director at Home Depot Inc since 2012. |

Mr William F. Spengler
| Mr William F. Spengler is a member of board of directors at Endo International plc since June 26, 2008 and is a member of Endo’s Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. Ms Nancy H. Handel
| Ms Nancy H. Handel has been a director since November 2005. Ms Handel was the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Applied Materials, Inc., a supplier of equipment and services to the global semiconductor, flat panel and solar industries, from October 2004 through November 2006. From November 2006 to January 2007, Ms Handel served as Senior Vice President, Finance at Applied Materials and assisted in the transition with their new chief financial officer. She retired from Applied Materials in January 2007. She is a director at Broadcom Corp since November 23, 2005. From 1985 to October 2004 she served in various key financial leadership positions at Applied Materials, including four years as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, and 13 years as Treasurer. Ms Handel played a significant role in managing Applied Materials’ success on a global basis. At Applied Materials, Ms Handel provided direction on operations finance and public reporting, major financial transactions, such as global acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets activity, as well as major financial processes in the company, including establishing the financial risk management committee and providing leadership for various restructurings and ERP related business process engineering. Ms Handel set the “tone at the top” for a high integrity management culture and exercised broad responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In 2006, Ms Handel held various financial management positions with Raychem Corporation, an electronics manufacturer, Crown Zellerbach Corporation, a paper manufacturing company, and two private early stage companies. She received a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University, and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. |
Mr Henry Samueli
| Mr Henry Samueli, Ph.D has been elected as chairman of the board of Broadcom Corp since May 17, 2012. Also he is a co-founder and since December 2009 has served as our Chief Technical Officer at Broadcom Corp. The Office of the CTO is responsible for driving the vision of Broadcom’s research and development activities as well as helping coordinate corporate-wide engineering development strategies. Since our inception, Dr. Samueli has been instrumental in leading the direction of our innovations and developing and implementing strategies that have secured the company’s position as a major technology innovator and a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications. Dr. Samueli served as a technology advisor to Broadcom from May 2008 through December 2009. He previously served as a director and as Chief Technical Officer from Broadcom’s inception in 1991 through May 2008, as Chairman of our Board of Directors from May 2003 through May 2008, and as Co-Chairman of the Board from inception until May 2003. Dr. Samueli is also a Distinguished Adjunct Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of California, Irvine. He was the Chief Scientist and one of the founders of PairGain Technologies, Inc., a telecommunications equipment manufacturer, and he consulted for PairGain from 1988 to 1994. Dr. Samueli received a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Samueli is a named inventor in 67 U.S. patents. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering. Election to the National Academy of Engineering is amongst the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer. |
