| Prof.Lakshman R.Watawala is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka and, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of U.K. He has held the position of Chairman and Managing Director of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka twice. He has also served as the Chairman of People’s Bank, People’s Merchant Bank and other State Corporations. He has also functioned as an adviser in the Ministry of Finance. He is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, South Asian Federation of Accountants and the Founder President of AAT Sri Lanka and also the Founder President of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. Currently he is a Committee Member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Boards of a number of Public Quoted Companies. |
