As a member of the Bar Council, served as Chairman of the Law and Finance Committee and several other Committees of the Council. He has served as a member of a three member Bench of Inquiry into the Professional Misconduct of Members of the Bar constituted by the then Honourable Chief Justice in the early 1980’s for a term of five years.
