stc generates over SAR 40.1bn revenue in H1-26 amid higher quarterly net profit

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (stc) recorded a net profit of SAR 7.32 billion during the first half (H1) of 2026, reflecting a 2.05% decrease compared to SAR 7.47 billion in H1-25.

Despite the headline decline, the company noted that net profit grew by 6.3% when excluding non-recurring items, according to a bourse disclosure.

Total revenue during the January-June 2026 period rose by 3.75% to SAR 40.11 billion, driven by growth across its primary segments.

Customer unit revenues increased 3%, business unit revenues rose 2.10%, and the carriers and operators unit grew 8.80%.

Operating profit generated by stc for the January-June 2026 period increased by 7.83% to SAR 7.77 billion.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company recorded revenues of SAR 20.17 billion, marking a 3.70% increase year-on-year (YoY).

Quarterly net profit reached SAR 3.62 billion, down 5.23% from SAR 3.82 billion in Q2-25.

The company attributed the quarterly performance to a 3.19% rise in gross profit to SAR 9.87 billion and a 4.66% increase in operating profit to SAR 3.79 billion during the April-June 2026 period.

In Q1-26, stc registered SAR 3.69 billion worth of net profits, while its revenue reached SAR 19.93 billion as of 31 March 2026.
