solutions pens contracts exceeding SAR 156m with stc

Riyadh – Mubasher: Arabian Internet and Telecommunication Company (solutions) has signed several contracts with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) at a total value of SAR 156.18 million to implement tech-related projects.

Under the 24-month agreement, a centralised storage server will be implemented, in addition to installing “internet gateway through IP multi-protocol label switching,” solutions said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

The contracts include network expansion, while covering servers, storages, backup and archive, professional tech services, and licences.

There will also be an upgrade of old platforms to allow stc to offer modern services and proper support to customers.

solutions said the financial impact of this cooperation will appear in the income statements as of the first quarter (Q1) of 2022.

It is worth noting that stc holds a majority interest of 79% in solutions.

Last October, solutions entered into a managed services agreement worth SAR 139.97 million with stc.
