e& posts AED 10bn profits to shareholders in 2022 unaudited financials

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits attributable to the owners of e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, increased by AED 700 million (7.40%) to AED 10 billion in 2022 from AED 9.31 billion in 2021.

Revenues stood at AED 52.43 billion last year, lower by AED 900 million (1.70%) than AED 53.34 billion in the January-December 2021 period, according to the preliminary financial results.

The earnings per share (EPS) jumped to AED 1.15 in 2022 from AED 1.07 in 2021, while the total assets hiked to AED 143.40 billion from AED 128.19 billion.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the ADX-listed company logged net profits attributable to the shareholders worth AED 7.34 billion, an annual growth of 2.30% from AED 7.18 billion.

Meanwhile, the revenues edged down by 1.10% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 39.29 billion in 9M-22 from AED 39.72 billion.
