Dubai – Mubasher: The net profits of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) hiked by 21% to AED 311.18 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to AED 257.14 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's consolidated financials for the three-month period ended 31 March 2022.
The company generated revenues of AED 3.12 billion in Q1-22, up 8.5% from AED 2.88 billion in the same quarter of 2021.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.07 in the first three months (3M) of 2022, versus AED 0.06 in the corresponding period of the earlier year.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company's net profits decreased to AED 1.10 billion, compared to AED 1.44 billion in the earlier year.
