Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Altibbi, a remote medical consultation platform that directly connects patients to physicians.
Under the collaboration, the listed company launched Zain Clinic, becoming the first telco operator to launch remote medical services through its application in the Kingdom.
To be integrated into the Zain KSA app, Zain Clinic will provide novel and seamless remote medical consultation services, according to a press release.
Zain KSA announced the news during the third annual tech event LEAP24 that kicked off on 4 March.
The partnership with Altibbi aligns with Zain KSA’s strategy to diversify its services beyond telecom, explore new sectors and industries, and launch advanced digital services in the Saudi market.
The two entities will join forces to boost the accessibility of healthcare services across the Kingdom while enhancing the nationwide digital transformation in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2023, Zain KSA recorded 130.36% higher net profits at SAR 1.26 billion, compared to SAR 550 million in 2022.
