Riyadh – Mubasher: Zahrat Al Waha Trading Company announced the completion of the scheduled periodic maintenance activities for the production lines of the company’s factories in May 2020.
The company took advantage of the COVID-19 outbreak, which lowered demand over the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, and has brought forward the planned maintenance works date to May instead of December so as to maintain the operational efficiency of production lines, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a 19% plunge in sales in Q2-20, dragged by the slow in demand. Around 30% of the company’s production lines were halted for maintenance last May.
Zahrat Al Waha further reiterated that lines in all factories are now working at full capacity like before and according to the company’s plan, and affirmed that it continues to meet all local and international orders.
