Riyadh – Mubasher: Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab) achieved a net profit of SAR 270 million for the first six months ending 30 June 2026, reflecting a 363.92% leap from SAR 58.20 million in the same period last year.
The company attributed the growth to higher average selling prices for all products and sustained plant reliability, which bolstered operational efficiency despite rising input costs.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company achieved a net profit of SAR 258.80 million, a significant rise from SAR 44.50 million in the prior-year quarter.
Quarterly revenue reached SAR 1.88 billion, up 34.79% compared to SAR 1.39 billion in Q2-25. This performance followed a sequential recovery from Q1-26, when net profit stood at SAR 11.20 million.
The results were achieved despite the company recording provisions totaling SAR 104 million.
Financial data also showed that total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 10.47 billion as of 30 June 2026, compared to SAR 11.30 billion a year earlier.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period rose to SAR 0.48 from SAR 0.10 in the previous year.
At the end of March 2026, Yansab logged net profits valued at SAR 11.20 million, an annual drop of 18.24% from SAR 13.70 million.
