WFP’s current cooperation portfolio in Egypt stands at $586m

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation announced the strategic plan with the World Food Programme (WFP) between 2018 and 2023.

A total of $586 million has been allocated to the strategic plan which focuses on improving social security programmes and food safety for the neediest cases, especially mothers, as well as supporting farmers, according to a statement on Monday.

The plan comes under the framework of cooperation with the United Nations (UN) and its specialised agencies.
