Volar Aerospace, UAE’s Inovartic cooperate for electric aircraft production

UAE – Mubasher: Volar Aerospace Limited (Volar), Hong-Kong based green air mobility company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi-based Inovartic Investment to cooperate on the commercial use of the RX-series of electric aircraft in the UAE.

The MoU covers the collaboration for distribution, after-sales services, and local manufacturing of electric aircraft across the region, according to a press release.

Cooperation with Volar is expected to improve the Emirati aviation sector through the introduction of advanced electric aircraft that offer cost efficiency with a minimal environmental footprint while maintaining operational capabilities.

Henry Hooi, CEO of Volar, said: “This partnership marks a significant step towards integrating sustainable technologies in aviation, which is crucial for environmental conservation and technological advancement. This aligns with the goals as outlined in the ‘UAE’s Net Zero by 2050’ agenda.”
