Union Coop to implement AED 40m mall in Umm Al Quwain

Dubai – Mubasher: Union Coop is looking to expand its presence in Umm Al Quwain through establishing a mall.

Located in Al Salma 3 area of the GCC emirate, the project’s total cost amounted to AED 40 million, according to the Dubai-based retailer said in a statement.

The mall’s ground floor will consist of 15 shops and a hypermarket.

The mall will also comprise around 70 residential apartments over two floors.

The basement floor and part of the ground floor will be allocated for parking areas with up to 177 indoor parking spaces and 250 outdoor parking spaces.

The project’s initial plans have been approved by the municipality of Umm Al Quwain, CEO of Union Coop Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi said.

He added that construction works are scheduled to begin next August, while the project is expected to be completed in October 2020.
