Unilever inks deals for possible Egypt investments

Cairo – Mubasher:  Unilever has signed agreements with three international companies to start investing in Egypt during the coming period.

Under the deals, the three firms will start manufacturing their products in Egypt, and Unilever will purchase these products, Alborsanews newspaper reported, citing CEO Ashraf Bakry as saying.

Unilever, which exports its products to the GCC and Africa, will start pumping investments in Europe, the US, Canada, and Russia in the coming period, Bakry said.

The CEO further noted that his firm was planning to raise production capacity in order to increase exports.
