Dubai – Mubasher: Unikai Foods posted a 10.4% year-on-year rise in its profits during the second quarter of 2017, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached AED 7.89 million ($2.15 million) in Q2-17, compared to AED 7.15 million ($1.94 million) in Q2-16.
Revenues grew 16% to AED 107.05 million in Q2-17, compared to AED 92.14 million in Q2-16.
Sales went up 15% to AED 64.37 million in Q2-17, compared to AED 56.09 million in Q2-16.
Administrative and distribution expenses rose to AED 31.82 million in Q2-17, compared to AED 28.50 million in Q2-16.
The company incurred losses of AED 1.6 million in the first half of 2017, against profits of AED 8.29 million in the prior-year period.
