Riyadh - Mubasher: Umm Al Qura Cement Company generated net profits of SAR 37.42 million for the first half (H1) of 2026, higher by 79.84% than SAR 20.81 million in H1-25.
The company attributed the growth to higher sales volumes and improved average selling prices, alongside a reduction in selling, marketing, general, and administrative expenses and lower financing costs.
Revenue for H1-26 reached SAR 166.23 million, up 35.67% from SAR 122.53 million a year earlier. Operating profit for the period rose by 52.84% to SAR 44.73 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period improved to SAR 0.68, versus SAR 0.38 in the prior-year period.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company posted a net profit of SAR 12.78 million, a 29.05% increase over the SAR 9.90 million reported in the second quarter of 2025.
Quarterly revenue jumped by 25.49% to SAR 77.89 million. However, net profit declined by 48.17% compared to the SAR 24.65 million earned in Q1-26, which the company attributed primarily to a decrease in the average selling price per ton.
Total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 896.47 million as of 30 June 2026.
As of 31 March 2026, the company’s profits hiked by 125.92% YoY to SAR 24.64 million from SAR 10.91 million.
