UAE stock markets show varied performance on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) plunged by 13.76 points (0.32%) at the end of Thursday’s session, reaching 4,277.61 points.

A total of 429.26 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 900.15 million.

Parkin, which commenced trading its shares on 21 March 2024, was the top riser with 35.23% in addition to recording the largest trading volume and value of 178.12 million shares and AED 487.02 million, respectively.

On the other hand, the main index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.17% at 9,285.60 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.40 billion after 240.56 million shares were traded. Meanwhile, the market cap value hit AED 2.88 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 202.28 million and Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 32.32 million shares were traded.

Fujairah Building Industries advanced the risers with 14.80%, whereas National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) led the fallers with 2.50%.
