UAE stock markets show negative performance on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session lower by 11.38 points (0.27%) at 4,172.93 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 402.53 million through the exchange of 130.30 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest trading value of AED 117.28 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 26.78 million shares,

AL Firdous Holdings led the risers with 6.05%, whereas Al Salam Bank – Sudan headed the decliners with 9.34%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went down by 0.317% to 9,165.19 points.

A total of 201.40 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 970.69 million, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.82 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 193.38 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 28.09 million shares.

Commercial Bank International (CBI) topped the gainers with 14.92%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) led the fallers with 5.70%.
