UAE stock markets see positive performance in November

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed November's trading sessions in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 10.6% to 2,419.60 points in November, compared to 2,187.86 points in October.

The market cap value reached around AED 336.64 billion, up AED 27.48 billion from AED 309.16 billion in October.

The real estate sector led the risers with 16.5%, driven by a 19.1% gain in blue-chip developer Emaar Properties, a 19.2% leap in Emaar Development, and a 23.6% jump in Union Properties.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index increased by 6.5% to 4,964.93 points in November, compared to 4,660.04 points in the previous month.

The market cap value increased by AED 33.91 billion to AED 723.49 billion in November from around AED 689.58 billion in October.

The real estate sector topped the winners with 11%, supported by a 10.9% gain in Aldar Properties.
