UAE stock markets end Monday’s session down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s trading session in the red zone, dropping by 0.43% or 15.33 points to reach the level of 3,474.

The market’s turnover amounted to AED 277.04 million where a total of 114.86 million shares were traded.

Al Firdous Holdings headed the risers with 14.68%, whereas Shuaa Capital led the fallers with 3.05%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 106.49 million, while Dubai Financial Market (DFM) recorded the highest trading activity with 18.78 million shares.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the trading session down by 1.15% to close at the level of 10,086.37 points.

A total of 670.09 million shares were traded at a value of AED 2.65 billion. Meanwhile, the market cap amounted to AED 2.22 trillion.

ADCW was the top gainer with 9.68%, whereas Fujairah Cement Industries headed the decliners with 9.81%.

TAQA was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 267.33 million shares exchanged at AED 542.25 million.
