UAE stock markets decline on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 29.35 points (0.68%) on Wednesday to close at 4,240.05 points.

A total of 197.30 million shares were exchanged at a turnover hitting AED 405.85 million.

National General Insurance Company (NGI) advanced the risers with 14.60%, whereas Unikai Foods led the fallers with 9.30%.

Emaar Properties acquired the highest trading value of AED 72.37 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 22.89 million shares were traded.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) decreased by 0.46% to close the session at 9,209.48 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 993.32 million through the trading of 215.20 million shares.

Meanwhile, the market cap value stood at AED 2.83 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the biggest turnover of AED 201.48 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 31.01 million shares were traded.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) advanced the risers with 14.94%, while Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) led the fallers with 7.88%.
