UAE stock markets closes Sunday's session in red zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.26% to settle at 2,832 points by the end of Sunday's session.

A total of 52.58 million shares were traded through 1,620 transactions valued at AED 84.21 million.

Al Salam Group Holding led the rising stocks with 8.24%, while Emirates Refreshments topped the losing stocks with 3.29%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.64% to close Sunday's session at 7,774.81 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.2 billion after 167.52 million shares had been exchanged through 4,398 transactions.

Union Insurance came on top of the green zone with 14.91%, while Emirates Stallions Group headed the red zone with 5.68%.
