UAE stock markets close Wednesday on mixed note

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday lower by 9.25 points (0.29%) at 3,168.63 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 386.83 million through the trading of 163.65 million shares.

Ithmaar Holding led the fallers with 5%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan headed the risers with 5.16%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value and volume after 32.67 million shares were exchanged at AED 156.88 million.

Meanwhile, the main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 1.57% to 8,612.91 points.

The trading value stood at AED 1.49 billion through the exchange of 206.66 million shares. The market cap value reached AED 1.61 trillion.

Al Qudra Holding topped the risers with 10.38%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) was the top faller with 9.8%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest turnover of AED 416.29 million, while Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 70.55 million shares.
