UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.22% to close Wednesday's trading session at 2,843.83 points.

A total of 159.84 million shares were traded through 1,930 transactions valued at AED 127.57 million.

National Central Cooling Co (Tabreed) led the rising stocks with 4.78%, while Al Mazaya Holding topped the losing stocks with 9.74%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.35% to settle at 7,781.83 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.4 billion after 162.7 million shares had been exchanged through 6,386 transactions.

National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC) came on top of the green zone with 12.79%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry & Feeding Co. headed the red zone with 10%.
