UAE stock markets close Tuesday higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s session higher by 51.34 points (1.50%) at 3,469.91 points.

The trading value reached AED 588.59 million through the exchange of 165.49 million shares.

Dar Al Takaful was the top riser with 7.92% while Al Salam Bank led the fallers with 2.67%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover and trading volume of AED 264.64 million and 44.01 million shares, respectively.

The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also rose by 3.08% to 9,720.18 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.87 billion after 307.44 million shares were exchanged. The market cap reached AED 1.91 trillion.

National Marine Dredging Company headed the risers with 14.98%, while Chimera was the top faller with 4.89%.

International Holding Group (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 352.58 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 58.92 million shares were exchanged.
