UAE stock markets close Thursday’s trading session higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 31.10 points (0.73%) on Thursday and closed the trading session at 4,290.34 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 472.88 million through the exchange of 227.44 million shares.

GFH Financial Group was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 112.91 million shares exchanged at AED 121.62 million.

Taaleem Holdings advanced the gainers with 3.24%, while Orascom Construction led the falling companies with 8.75%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.122% to 9,255.06 points.

A total of 276.20 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.15 billion, while the market cap value reached AED 2.87 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 199.44 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 34.08 million shares.

Palms Sports was the top riser with 13.10%, whereas Fujairah Cement Industries Company headed the decliners with 10%.
