UAE stock markets close Monday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.97% to close Monday's trading session at 3,146.67 points.

A total of 168.584 million shares were traded through 5,313 transactions valued at AED 338.716 million.

Dar Al Takaful led the rising stocks with 3.48%, while Amlak Finance topped the losing stocks with 8.76%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.186% to settle at 8,689.79 points by the end of Monday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.42 billion after 211.5 million shares had been traded through 6,772 transactions.

Fujairah Building Industries headed the green zone with 14.67%, while Al Qudra Holding came on top of the red zone with 6.3%.
