UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s session lower by 44.20 points (1.38%) at 3,157.61 points.

The trading value reached AED 185.53 million through the exchange of 77.49 million shares.

Shuaa Capital led the fallers with 4.29%.

Ithmaar Holding was the top riser with 14.52%, in addition to being the most active stock on which 18.27 million shares were exchanged.

Meanwhile, Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 55.20 million.

Also, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.447% to 9,240.62 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.11 billion after 142.56 million shares were traded. The market cap reached AED 1.96 trillion.

Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) was the top faller with 9.82%, while Easy Lease Motorcycle Rental Company advanced the risers with 4.93%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 333.50 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 35.46 million shares were exchanged.
