Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation’s (Empower) total assets amounted to AED 19 billion by the end of 2017, while profits are expected to increase by 10% - 15% by the end of current year, CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar said.
Empower posted AED 772 million net profits during 2017, and it re-operated about 60% of its profits in new operations.
On a side noted, Dubai plans to be a model for sustainability and smart cities in the coming years, Al Bayan newspaper reported, citing Bin Shafar as saying.
The CEO forecast that using cooling systems will increase in Dubai in the coming period.
