UAE – Mubasher: The UAE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Iraq, Qatar, and Türkiye for cooperation on the Development Road project.
The project seeks to create a sustainable economy bridging East and West, increase international trade, facilitate movement and commerce, establish a new competitive transport route, and bolster regional economic prosperity, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The Development Road aims to stimulate economic growth and enhance regional and international cooperation through economic integration.
The MoU was signed by Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Razzaq Muhibis, Iraq's Minister of Transport; Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, representing Türkiye; and Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Qatar's Minister of Transport.
