UAE – Mubasher: The Central Bank of UAE's monetary aggregate (M3) edged up 0.2% in April, reaching AED 1.636 trillion, versus AED 1.632 trillion in March, according to the bank’s UAE Monthly Monetary Survey of April.
On the other hand, the money supply aggregate (M1) slipped by 0.3% month-on-month to AED 507.3 billion last April from AED 512 billion, with currency circulated outside banks up to AED 74.7 billion, the state-run Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported, citing the survey.
Meanwhile, the money supply aggregate (M2) slightly increased by 0.5% to AED 1.335 billion in April, versus AED1.329 billion a month earlier, according to the survey.
