UAE - Mubasher: The UAE government has introduced the "Pioneers of the Digital Economy" initiative to develop the capabilities of young talents and empower them with the knowledge and expertise necessary for the development of advanced future technology, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The initiative will enable talents to access job opportunities in global leading companies in the fields of coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and come up with innovative solutions to promote the UAE's future digital economy.
Launched by the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence, the initiative also offers a platform to boost partnerships between public and private sectors and talented skills in the field of software and modern technologies.
The Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at AWS Worldwide Public Sector, Isabella Groegor-Cechowicz, said: "With the upcoming launch of the AWS data centres in the UAE in the first half of 2022, we are hiring teams across multiple functions to support cloud adoption and to help accelerate the UAE’s digital transformation strategy."
