UAE inflation rises 4% in July – FCSA

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE’s inflation rose to 3.78% in July, compared to 3.29% a month earlier.

Cost of Living Index rose to 111.4 points last month versus 107.38 in June, according to a report released by the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA).

It is worth noting that inflation in the UAE increased to 4.8% in January after the GCC nation has implemented a 5% value-added tax (VAT).

On the other hand, it witnessed a drop in February by 4.5%, followed by March, April, and May with 3.3%, 3.5%, and 3.48%, respectively.
