UAE – Mubasher: The trade exchange between Egypt and the UAE grew by 14% year-on-year to $5.48 billion (AED 20.1 billion) in 2018, according to Al-Ittihad newspaper.
The UAE’s imports from Egypt went up to $2.1 billion last year, compared to $1.9 billion the year before.
Meanwhile, the GCC country’s non-oil exports to Egypt surged 45% to $1.09 billion in 2018, while re-exports recorded $2.48 billion in the same period
