Riyadh — Mubasher: Twareat Medical Care Company stated that the Riyadh Commercial Court issued a preliminary ruling on 25 August 2026 in its lawsuit against Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), according to a bourse filing.
The court ordered SABIC to pay roughly SAR 1.03 million to Twareat Medical Care.
Additionally, the defendant was ordered to pay SAR 6,516.73 to cover a portion of the expertise fees previously deposited by the plaintiff.
The court declined to hear claims related to the contractual period from 1 December 2019 to 30 November 2020, citing the expiration of the statutory period.
Furthermore, the court ruled that it lacked jurisdiction over the plaintiff's request regarding value-added tax obligations linked to the original claim.
Twareat Medical Care added that all other requests were rejected.
This judgment is preliminary and subject to appeal once the formal deed is received. Meanwhile, the case follows a previous disclosure made on 30 December 2025.
Twareat Medical Care stated it will disclose any further material developments as they occur.
