The value of Tunisia’s exports to Libya reached 700 million dinars (MD) in 2017, Trade Minister Omar Behi said on Thursday, September 27, 2018 during the first edition of the Tunisian-Libyan Business Forum.
He added that there is a series of measures that have been launched by the Tunisian government to increase trade between the two countries.
The minister also called on the Tunisian and Libyan businessmen present at the forum to collaborate together through the multiplication of investment niches in both countries.
Behi acknowledged that the logistical problem is hampering the strengthening of Tunisian-Libyan cooperation and that the government is working hard in partnership with Libya to solve this problem.
