Several representatives of British travel agencies have expressed to René Trabelsi, Minister of Tourism, their willingness to multiply their trips to Tunisia, following the considerable improvement in the security situation.
Mark Tanzer, CEO of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), said British operators’ interest in Tunisian destinations could be translated into training cooperation in the areas of services, hygiene and hotel self-insurance.
Representatives of the Thomas Cook agency have indicated that the demands of British tourists on Tunisian destinations are constantly increasing.
The agency will send nearly 100 thousand British tourists this summer to Tunisia.
It is estimated that a total of 250 thousand Brits will visit the country during the 2019 summer season.
