Tunisia: BCT confirms good growth figure

At its meeting on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Tunis, the Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) noted the improvement of economic, monetary and financial indicators of Tunisia.

At the end of the second quarter of 2018, the country achieved GDP growth of 2.8%, year-on-year, compared to 2.5% in the first quarter, and growth of 1.7% in the second quarter of the year. 2017.

In the same context, the Executive Board of the BCT noted that the growth rate for the first half of this year would be 2.6% against 1.9% during the same period of 2017.
