Mubasher: Travelex, the leading foreign exchange specialist, has signed a partnership agreement with the authorised Philippines-based remittance agency iREMIT in a bid to offer the best to Filipino customers in Bahrain, according to a recent statement.
This partnership deal will provide Travelex’s customers with easy services to send and receive money seamlessly between Bahrain and Philippines.
Travelex Bahrain will offer its new service in its 25 branches across the kingdom.
“iREMIT is a name that resonates amongst overseas Filipino workers as a secure and trusted means of transferring money effectively and efficiently to Philippines through its network of 21,000 cash pick locations, as well as credit to any bank in Philippines,” the statement noted.
This partnership comes as part of iREMIT’s efforts to intensify strategic marketing alliances and initiatives in countries with high density of Filipinos such as North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
President of iREMIT Harris Jacildo, commented, “Philippines ranks as the 3rd largest remittance recipient in the world with over $32bn being received in 2017 alone, according to the World Bank Data wherein outflow of remittance from Bahrain to Philippines was recorded at $224 million.”
