Thob Al Aseel’s net profits down 27.5% in 2021; dividends approved

Riyadh - Mubasher: Thob Al Aseel Company’s net profits after Zakat and tax declined by 27.5% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 59.73 million in 2021, compared to SAR 82.39 million.

The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.49 last year, versus SAR 2.06 in 2020, the company’s consolidated financial results showed on Monday.

The revenues fell by 8.61% to SAR 481.90 million in 2021 from SAR 527.34 million a year earlier.

In the meantime, Thob Al Aseel’s board approved on 20 February a cash dividend distribution of SAR 30 million, representing 7.5% of the capital.

The Saudi listed company will pay SAR 0.75 for a total of 40 million shares.

It is worth noting that in October 2021, the company’s board decided to raise the capital by SAR 100 million through bonus shares.
