Thimar’s profits decline 35% in Q1

Riyadh – Mubasher:  The profits of National Agriculture Marketing Co (Thimar) fall 35.3% in the first quarter of 2017.

The company achieved SAR 1.48 million in Q1-17 compared to SAR 2.28 million in the year-ago period.

The decrease in Q1 profits was attributable to higher expenses due to recruiting new labour, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

Total sales decreased 6.31% to SAR 35 million in Q1 compared to SAR 37.37 million in the same period of the previous year.
