Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing is reportedly expected issue the main tender for its $700m (SAR2.6bn) Nabd Qiran Saudi Housing Development project in Riyadh in mid-September 2019, with the contract award expected in the second week of December.
According to Thomson Reuters, detailed design work on the project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2019, with the development scheduled for completion in December 2022.
The project reportedly involves the development of 4,385 residential units, five mosques, four schools, play areas, and a health centre.
The report added that Saudi Consolidated Engineering Co (Khatib & Alami) was working as design, lead, and structural consultant for the development.
