Tahya Misr Fund provides women with EGP 300.8m micro-financing

Cairo – Mubasher: Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt) Fund has financed about 19,868 micro-enterprises across various governorates in Egypt with a total value of EGP 330.85 million under the Mastoura loan programme for women, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.

The programme helps economically empower women through the provision of soft loans ranging from EGP 4,000 to EGP 20,000 for the establishment of micro-enterprises.

Moreover, the fund has also allocated EGP 42 million for the presidential initiative of “Prisons Without Debtors” which helped clear debts of low-income women.
