Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) witnessed the execution of 19 negotiated deals today with a combined value of SAR 489.90 million on Thursday, 9 July.
These off-market transactions involved the exchange of 16.40 million across several listed entities, conducted independently of the continuous auction market price.
Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation (SPIMACO) dominated the session's activity, recording nine separate deals totaling approximately SAR 323.3 million.
The largest single transaction for the company involved 3.12 million shares priced at SAR 27.80 per share, valued at SAR 86.90 million. Other significant tranches for the same firm included deals worth SAR 73.90 million and SAR 65.10 million, all executed at the SAR 27.80 price point.
Energy giant Saudi Aramco saw four negotiated deals totaling SAR 86.60 million. Three of these transactions were executed at SAR 26.60 per share, while a fourth deal involving 500,000 shares was finalized at SAR 26.64.
In the banking and financial services sectors, Bank Albilad recorded a single transaction worth SAR 28.50 million for 1.19 million shares at a price of SAR 23.94. Rasan Information Technology Company saw three deals totaling SAR 34.70 million, with prices ranging between SAR 135.50 and SAR 144 per share.
Additional off-market activity included Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group, which saw 50,000 shares change hands for SAR 10.90 million at SAR 217.30 per share. Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Company also registered a deal worth SAR 6.80 million for 60,000 shares at a price of SAR 113 million.
Negotiated deals on the Saudi Exchange are trades executed by a buyer and seller who have agreed upon a specific price and quantity in advance. These transactions must comply with Tadawul's regulatory requirements and do not impact the closing price of the security or the general market index.
