Tadawul closes Monday on marginal rise

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi bourse ended Monday’s trading session on marginal gains for the seventh day in a row after inching up by 0.08% or 5.65 points to stand at 7,535.96 points.

A total of 297.46 million shares were exchanged via 275,574 transactions at a turnover of SAR 5.934 billion.

The Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) headed the gainers with 9.91%, whereas Southern Province Cement Company led the decliners with 5.09%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development was the most actively traded stock on all levels after 73.44 million shares were traded at a turnover of SAR 559.28 million.

The materials and energy sectors rose by 0.31% and 0.18%, respectively, whereas the telecommunications services and banks levelled down by 0.67% and 0.03%, respectively.

In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) settled lower by 0.11% to 8,177.20 points.

Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company was the only riser by 0.28%, whereas Sumou Real Estate Company topped the fallers with 0.63%.
