Tadawul, Nomu lose at Thursday open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.69% or 47.93 points to 6,900.13 points at Thursday’s open.

By 10:58 am Makkah time, 49.22 million shares were exchanged through 20,340 transactions at a value of SAR 773.21 million.

The utilities sector topped the worst performers and lost 2.2%, followed by the media and food retailing sectors by 1.4% and 1.3%, respectively.

The telecom, material and banks sectors decreased 0.8%, 0.7%, and 0.6%, respectively.

On the other hand, the REITs sector rose solely by 1.4%.

Budget Saudi Arabia led the 143 losing stocks and retreated 4.5%, while Zoujaj topped the green zone and increased 2.3%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market went down 0.14% to stand at 4,952.33 points.

Arab Sea topped the best performers and levelled up 1.2%, while Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores was the only loser and slipped 1.3%.
