TASI up, Nomu falls at Sunday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 0.9%, or 64.32 points, to 7,402.36 points in Sunday’s early trades.

By 10:55 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 56.56 million shares, with a liquidity of SAR 1.11 billion.

The real estate management and development sector rose 1.4%, followed by banks with 1.2%, materials with 0.9%, and telecommunication services with 0.5%.

On the other hand, the energy and food and staples retailing sectors shed 0.8% and 0.3%, respectively.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led TASI’s gainers with 5.4%, whereas Saudi Arabia-based Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication’s (Go) stock tumbled 6.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, decreased 0.13%, or 4 points, to 3,015.75 points.

The stocks of Baazeem Trading, Raydan Co, and Arab Sea Information System fell 5.2%, 1.4%, and 0.9%, respectively.
