Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday’s trading session in the red territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 50.52 points, or 0.6%, to 8,338.14, whereas the secondary market's main index remained unchanged.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 20.7 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 497.7 million through 15,400 transactions.
The commercial and professional services sector topped TASI’s losers, falling 0.98%, followed by drops across the basic materials, banking, and telecommunication at 0.77%, 0.7%, and 0.41%, respectively.
On the other hand, the transportation sector headed the bourse’s risers adding 0.98%, followed by the increase of the capital goods sector with 0.3%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained stable at 2,843.90 points.
